IRC5
IRC5 is ABB's fifth generation robot controller. New features include a modular concept, the FlexPendant™ interface unit, and MultiMove™ functionality. The IRC5 splits functions into control, axis drives, and process control. This modular design optimizes cell layouts and allows for the upgrade or replacement of a module with minimal interference to the others. The addition of MultiMove™ enables the coordinated operation of up to four robots in a cell with a single controller. .
