Gudel Gantry Systems
Gudel's linear 1, 2, and 3 axes modules are built using the standard components of their guideway system for medium and heavy loads. The modular design features hardened and ground guideways with a rack or toothed belt drive permitting high loads, dynamics, a high degree of positioning accuracy, and quiet operation. Gudel's gantry modules have load capacities from 10 to 3600 kg. To help you maintain a consistent controller interface, Gudel gantry installations can use ABB or KUKA controllers. A Gudel gantry module based system from Rimrock is an efficient and economic solution for your process.
Using a Gudel module based system, Rimrock can design up to a 5 axis gantry robot solution. These systems are ideal for machine tending and material handling applications using minimal floor space. A 4-5 Axis Gantry robot solution is more flexible than a stationary 6 axis robotic system. For even greater flexibility, a Gudel TrackMotion™ system can be used in conjunction with a 6 axis robotic arm to create either a floor mounted or inverted solution with 7 degrees of freedom.
