Ladling
Rimrock offers ladles to meet any pouring challenge. Our ladles are designed to achieve consistent metal temperature and metal quality. Rimrock's conventional robotic ladle is fully programmable and designed to work with a wide range of die cast machines. Ladle cups are available with both front and rear fill slots to accommodate different furnace configurations.
Rimrock's bottom pour ladle minimizes casting oxides by filling aluminum under the bath surface and pouring from the bottom of the ladle. The bottom pour ladle can be used to increase head pressure to fill long and thin sections when contact pouring. By using the bottom pour ladle for contact pours casting yields increase and the sprue cup can be eliminated. Rimrock's bottom pour ladle is ideal for lost foam casting.
