Rimrock offers a variety of robotic spray solutions with our floor and shelf mounted robotic systems. Our spray manifolds are customized to meet each of your unique needs. Rimrock's automated spray solutions can lower your production cost and reduce cycle times, while providing the ability to manufacture value-added products. Explore this page's picture gallery for examples of custom 032, 025, 025x, and extract & spray manifold systems.
Precision Spray
For users electing to utilize a spray robot for smaller die cast machines (400-600 ton) to maintain flexibility, Rimrock can provide a lightweight manifold with 022, 026 or 032
spray nozzles. An extension provides nozzle blow-off at a minimum of 6" below the center of the die cast machine.
High Volume Spray
Rimrock's High Volume Spray is industry proven as the best solution for large die cast machines. This system provides a large flow of die release for quick cooling with individually adjustable air and liquid flows. The manifold is armed with our 042 nozzles which have a liquid flow rate of up to 10 gpm. This manifold system is proven to reduce scrap rates and soldering problems.
ProSpray
The ProSpray system enables the user to spray the die with precise amounts of lubricant and extremely accurate positioning. The articulation of the robot greatly enhances the user's ability to spray cores and deep pockets. The system consists of two zones (cover zone and ejector zone). The cover and ejector zones each have seven nozzle ports. Each individual nozzle can be turned on or off by solenoid valves on the robot arm. Each spray zone is supplied with spray air and lubricant. The spray air and lubricant at each zone are controlled by proportional valves (four total) that enable the user to change the pressure and volume accordingly. Thus, zones can be programmed to atomize differently while spraying simultaneously. The unit is equipped with two lube supplies. The user can program the robot to call for either lube supply at any of the spray positions. All air blow-off occurs through the nozzles.
